Sound Images is a sound driver for the Sega Mega Drive made by Sound Images - a company specialized in doing videogame audio for other companies. The sound driver was programmed by Tony Williams in Z80 assembly, Software Creations hired him for the music for their Mega Drive games.
In part the Sound Images sound driver was also used in pirated Chinese games.
