Gameplay
The objective of Slider is to move Slider across 99 levels, turning all of the floor tiles pink in a given amount of time. Enemies continously spawn from nests, and Slider can dispatch them with projectiles fired with . Bonuses frequently appear across the map, and hitting an enemy, falling off the screen or failing to clear the stage in time causes the player to lose a life.
The Game Gear version of Slider differs slightly from its home computer counterparts, with levels scrolling horizontally rather than vertically. Also collecting all four Teddy Bears grants lives in this version, whereas in the original it acts another means of finishing a stage.
