Alone in the Dark 2 (アローン・イン・ザ・ダーク2) is the direct sequel to Alone in the Dark as was developed by Infogrames for DOS and PC-9801 computers and the 3DO. Enhanced versions were released for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation, and work began on a Sega 32X port before being scrapped. It was titled Alone in the Dark: Jack is Back in Europe and Alone in the Dark: One-Eyed Jack's Revenge.
