The Yakuza Remastered Collection is a two-disc set for the PlayStation 4 containing remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. All were previously released individually on the PlayStation 4, either as physical copies (in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan) or as digital downloads (the West) across 2018 and 2019. The compilation meant that the six mainline Yakuza games, as well as prequel Yakuza 0 were all playable on the PlayStation 4 in all major territories.
The three games were originally released for the PlayStation 3 between 2009 and 2015, however this release marks the first time Yakuza 5 was made available physically in the West. Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4 are contained on the same disc, while Yakuza 5 ships on its own disc in a special PlayStation 3 case (although the game itself is for PlayStation 4).
