Condemned, known as Condemned: Criminal Origins in the US and Condemned: Psycho Crime (コンデムド サイコクライム) in Japan, is a survival horror/first-person shooter developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sega for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. It was followed by a sequel on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Condemned 2. The game was banned in Germany for its violent content.
Unlike most first-person shooters, Condemned involves more melee combat that actual shooting. Ammunition is limited so that most enemies need to be killed with bludgeons or other makeshift weapons.
