Actua Golf's roots date back to 1995, where it was originally announced (in North America at least) as VR Golf '96 for release in February 1996[3]. It is thought to have been delayed for the best part of a year, becoming VR Golf '97 in the process.
Legacy
The game would spawn two sequels, Actua Golf 2 and Actua Golf 3 respectively, though these would bypass the Saturn in favour of the Sony PlayStation.
