In 1996, Alexandria began development on the original Mega-CD version of Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster, with programmer Earl Stratton tasked with converting the game to the platform.[2] Ultimately, development would be shifted to the Sega Saturn, where it would eventually be released the following year.
