UFO Pusher (UFOプッシャー) is a prize game released in 1995 by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. as part of the UFO Catcher series. It is sometimes referred to as UFO Pusher DX to distinguish it from the similar UFO Pusher Twin, which was released simultaneously.
While traditional UFO Catchers must be placed against a wall, UFO Pusher was designed to be placed in the center of the room. It features a rounded cabinet design with a set of player controls on each of its four corners. Inside the cabinet, prizes sit on a rotating, four-level turntable with a hole in the center leading to the prize chute. Players use two buttons (one for horizontal movement and one for vertical movement) to aim an extending "pusher" towards the desired prize. As the game's name suggests, the object of UFO Pusher is to knock the prize off of the turntable and into the prize chute.[2]
Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the machines on March 31, 2017.[3][4]
