Super Daisenryaku (スーパー大戦略) is a 1988 World War II simulation game for NEC's PC-88 and PC-98 computers by SystemSoft in their Daisenryaku series of WWII sims. Sega ported it to the Sega Mega Drive in 1989, putting in a new soundtrack composed by Tokuhiko Uwabo. Not only was it never released outside Japan, but it does not fully implement TMSS, meaning it will only work on early Model 1 Mega Drives.
The Mega Drive would receive a sequel, Advanced Daisenryaku, which not only does work on all Mega Drives, but also contained Mega Modem support.
CONTROLS: A (select) S (return) D (menus I/II/III) direction keys (cursor control) enter (end turn menu).
initial menu TURN 0 TURN 0. Load load new game. Cont continue saved game. Check check pre-game stats. Player user/computer/not. Init* pre-game units/budget. Start* start loaded game.
submenu Init. 初期マップモード選択 Select initial map mode. 初置済（初級） Initial placement (Beginner) (units already in map). 初期軍事予算有（中級） Initial military budget (Intermediate) (start from zero). 初算(上級) Initial calculation (Advanced) (start from zero).
In game menu order (D) after Start*: I - map navigator II - overal command III - option menu.
III - game options. OPTION MENU OPTION MENU. Game save save current game state. Game load load saved game state. Stop restart console. End player surrender. Speed combat animations: on(real)/off(fast)/auto. Sound on/off. Alarm end turn alarm. Player units controlled by: user/computer | change music. Operation* (no need to change default values).
