Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing is a racing game for the Sega Mega Drive.
Gameplay
While released simultanously for the Mega Drive and Super NES, the two versions of World Championship Racing share little in common outside of basic structure. The Super NES version opts for a behind-the-wheel perspective similar to Super Monaco GP, while the Mega Drive puts its camera behind the whole car with a third-person perspective akin to Pole Position or OutRun. Both run at roughly the same speed, although the Super NES version is generally has varied scenery and offers slight adjustments in road height.
Curiously this is almost the mirror opposite of rival racing game F1: World Championship Edition.
