Eclipse Pad is a third-party controller for the Sega Saturn created by Recoton's STD Manufacturing division and sold under the InterAct name. It is the direct descendant of the Sega Mega Drive's SG ProPad 6, being almost identical bar the name, plug, and extra shoulder buttons.
Like the SG ProPad 2/SG ProPad 6, it can be "programmed" so that certain buttons have turbo features. It also contains a "slow" button, which rapidly pauses/unpauses the game, giving the effect of slow motion.
The name for this stick was chosen by readers of Electronic Gaming Monthly in the United States[2].
