The Powarcade is a third-party Sega Mega Drive arcade stick housed in a proper arcade cabinet.[2] Intended for use with either a standard Mega Drive or arcade PCBs (via an onboard JAMMA connection), it was one of the earliest attempts to produce an arcade cabinet for the home consumer market.[4]
