Akihito Wada (和田 明士) is a Japanese video game programmer. He joined the video game industry in 1990 when he began working for Sega of Japan, best-known for his work on Panic! and Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition[5]. Some of his earliest known works are with programmer Yuichiro Mine. He and many of his friends then established Land Ho!, where he continued to work as a programmer for about 15 years, before his role shifted to becoming more of a manager for the company[4].
