Galbo (ガルボ) was a small-scale chain of moderately sized indoor theme parks in Japan created by Sega. Though the chain initiated their Amusement Theme Park concept with the opening of Osaka ATC Galbo in April 1994, its few venues were outclassed in size and popularity by the Joypolis centres. All of the Galbo locations had permanently closed or no longer contained attractions by the time of the late 1990s, ostensibly becoming Sega World (Japan) game centres in the process. The last of the three thought to have operated, Yokkaichi Galbo, closed in February 2008.

"Galbo" is a portmanteau of "Gala" and "Box".[1]
