Technopop was an American video game development company and the first American developer for the Sega Mega Drive.[2] Founded in October 1990 by Randel Reiss[1], the company also created a majority of the system's early Western development tools (such as the widely-used GEMS sound driver), and also invented the proprietary Link-up cable which enables two-system multiplayer for the first-person shooter Zero Tolerance.
