Biohazard Code: Veronica Kanzenban (バイオハザード コード: ベロニカ 完全版) is an expanded edition of Resident Evil Code: Veronica that was released for the Dreamcast exclusively in Japan. Released a year after the original version of the game, Kanzenban (or Complete Edition) adds nine minutes worth of new cutscenes involving the character of Albert Wesker. Some of the existing cutscenes were also redone and the character of Steve Burnside was given a different hairstyle. The unlockable Battle Game from the original edition is now available by default and a Very Easy difficulty setting was added in which the player starts the game off with a Rocket Launcher.
The game was released outside Japan for the PlayStation 2 (and later Nintendo GameCube) as Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.
