Katie Chrzanowski is an American video game developer, Social Team manager[1], and Sonic Studio producer.[2]

Career

Katie Chrzanowski is responsible for managing all Sonic the Hedgehog-related social media accounts through the company's dedicated Social Team division, including working with popular influencers and outside social media agencies to ensure the brand is presented consistently across all platforms. In particular, she onboarded a new agency to expand Sonic's social media presence in Latin America.[1]

She acted as executive producer on The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, both conceptualizing the game and acting as the project's team lead. She also acted as a producer on 2021's Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony, both wrote and produced several Sonic Twitter Takeovers, and provided the voice for the Jade Wisp in Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps. [1]

Chrzanowski generally serves as the liaison between the general public and the internal teams at Sega of America, and co-hosts the bi-weekly Sonic Official livestreams. She was also chosen as one of the company's English-speaking presenters of 2021's Sega Test online quiz, where she hosted a brief video providing insight into the Western identity of Sonic the Hedgehog.[3] In addition to her regular duties, she is also a member of the Sega Values Team, where she helps evaluate how the company can better serve its employees and the greater community.[1]

Quotes

Sonic the Hedgehog, way back on the Sega Genesis, was the first video game I ever played in my life, and if you told like two year-old old me that I would be making Sonic games one day, I’d be like, “I don’t know what that means.” Knowing what Sonic did for my childhood and how much it meant to me, and knowing that maybe this game will do the same for someone else now, its just the most surreal feeling.
