Spider-Man is a 3D action game developed by Neversoft Entertainment based on the The Amazing Spider-Man comic book series by Marvel Comics. Originally released for the PlayStation in 2000, a Sega Dreamcast port, handled by Treyarch was released in early 2001.
While the game uses the comic books as its primary source of inspiration, many of the voice actors from the 1994 animated Spider-Man series and its follow-up, Spider-Man Unlimited reprise their roles as the main cast, and the theme song is a remix of the 1967 Spider-Man theme.
