Scorcher (スコーチャー) is a futuristic racing video game released among other systems for the Sega Saturn . The Japanese Saturn version of the game is the rarest release on the platform.
During development the game was known as Vertigo .
History
It was the last game to be developed by Zyrinx before disbanding. The game was built on the graphics engine used by Zyrinx in their 1995 32X technical demo, but converted to use the Saturn's 3D hardware capabilities.
