Gameplay
Unlike most ships, the underground ship the player is given puts them in complete control. By default, the ship is piloted by holding the button to move forward and the D-pad to rotate. If the player lets go of , they will start falling toward the bottom of the screen. reverses thrusters, shoots and cycles through weapons and special items. Controls are fully customizable in the game's option menu.
The primary objective is to explore the levels and rescue the trapped workers. To rescue a worker, the player needs to land their ship near them and wait long enough for them to board. Navigating the ship through tight corridors and dealing with the realistic physics is as important as combating enemies, and the player will need to keep a careful eye on both their shield and fuel gauges.
The game features a total of 9 stages. Stage 1 to 7 start with a short briefing, explaining the mission objectives. Stages 8 and 9 require the player to figure out the route and objectives by themselves. Later stages also include puzzle elements, e.g. transporting a mirror in order to reflect laser beams. The final objective is to take out the mastermind behind the alien invasion, Svin.
