Contents
Gameplay
LHX Attack Chopper is a 3D helicopter combat simulator in which players pilot US army helicopters from the Light Helicopter Experimental programme of the 1980s. The game is presented in 3D with flat-shaded polygon models.
Versions
The Mega Drive version of LHX Attack Chopper contains the majority of features of the original IBM PC game, however as a very low frame rate, typical of 3D games of this time. Slowdown is particularly apparent when objects are close to the camera, though the experience (in terms of speed) is likely not too far removed from the IBM version running with the minimum requirements.
