Chameleon was a planned Sega Mega Drive tank combat game for use with the Sega VR headset, developed by Futurescape Productions as a potential sequel to Nuclear Rush - even using the same hovercraft models. As that game was nearing completion around late 1993[2], preliminary work began on Chameleon. However, following looming health concerns surrounding Sega's VR technology and persistent software bugs, both games would ultimately be cancelled.
