Phelios (フェリオス) is a 1988 arcade shoot-'em-up by Namco ported to the Sega Mega Drive in 1990.
Typhon kidnapped Artemis while she was riding Pegasus, imprisoned her, and had Medusa turn her to stone. You play as Apollo, who mounts Pegasus and comes to Artemis's rescue.

, , and all act identically. Pressing the button fires a regular shot; holding it down charges your shot. Powerups are collected just like in any other shmup (grabbing them as they come out of enemies).
Versions
- The arcade version uses plenty of zoom and rotation effects, which could mostly not be replicated in the Sega Mega Drive version due to hardware limitations.
- Stage layouts, enemy and boss behaviour are significantly different between the arcade version and the Sega Mega Drive version. Namco's other shooting game, Dangerous Seed, was also subdued to such a remixing process.
