Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom Hint Book is an official guide book offered by Sega of America for Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom.
Unlike Phantasy Star II where a hint book was bundled with the game, Phantasy Star III merely came with a leaflet informing customers that a Phantasy Star III hint book existed. By contacting Sega directly, this hint book could be ordered for $14.95. The reason for this setup is likely due to the fact this book is much larger than a normal Mega Drive clamshell game case.
