Keiichi Yamamoto is an object and effects programmer best known as the Program Director for Sonic the Hedgehog CD. He was manager of the 1st programming section of Sega CS2 in 1992 and the programming section of Sega CS3 in 1993.[1]

Following his work on Shenmue II, Yamamoto left Sega and joined Namco Limited, where he has worked on Tekken 4 and Urban Reign.
