Yuichiro Mine (峰 裕一朗), also known as Proto 2, is a former programmer at Sega of Japan. His earliest known works date back to 1990 on the Mega Drive, continuing on the Mega-CD and early Sega Saturn. Following restructures in 1995/1996, he was moved to Sega AM2 to work on arcade games. His last known work there is Shenmue.
