Three variants of the Bootleg Sampler were released among the US and Europe, with small differences. The first version (US), contains three playable demos and eight videos, while the second version added a playable demo for Bug! (rather than the video presented in the first).
As both discs at first glance are visually identical, there are three easy ways to know what version the user has; the first is to either put the disc into a Sega Saturn and see which version the user has by the menu screen.
