Kujakuou 2: Geneijou (孔雀王2 幻影城) is the sequel to Kujakuou, developed and published by Sega in 1989 for the Sega Mega Drive. Just as Kujakuou was released overseas as SpellCaster, Kujakuou 2 was released overseas as Mystic Defender. In Korea it was named On Dal Jang Goon (온달장군) and some character graphics were changed. In Brazil it is known as Mystic Defense.
Also as with Kujakuou, the main character (Kujaku) received a redesign and a new name for the overseas release.
Mystic Defender storyline
Zareth, the henchman of the evil king Zao, kidnaps the Supreme Deity's daughter to use her power to resurrect Zao. You are Joe Yamato, a magician and warrior who goes out to save her and stop Zareth.
Gameplay
