Fire Shark, known in Japan as Same! Same! Same! (鮫!鮫!鮫!), is a 1989 arcade shoot-'em-up by Toaplan ported to the Sega Mega Drive in 1990. On an alternate Earth, heavy-arms producing nation S Corps starts invading other countries, and the Tiger Shark, a biplane, seems to be the only hope for stopping S Corps.

There are three endings, depending on the difficulty level.

Gameplay

A and C shoot; B fires a missile (which there are limited quantities of). Power-ups are gathered in the typical get-them-scattered-around-and-after-killing-things fashion. The three base weapons are a blue spreadshot (wide area), red flame thrower(switches between focused and wide) and a green laser(focused). Score is awarded based on remaining missiles and bolt items collected during stages. After clearing all stages, another loop with powered up enemies starts.

Versions

The game ROM contains all versions. By changing the region settings using an external tool, emulation etc. Fire Shark becomes Same! Same! Same! and vice-versa.
