F1 Challenge, known as F-1 Live Information (F-1ライブインフォメーション) in Japan and often printed as F-1 Challenge, is a Sega Saturn racing game developed by Bell. Published in Japan in November 1995 by Sega, it was later published in North America in September 1996 by Virgin Interactive Entertainment. The game is based on the 1995 Formula One World Championship.

Gameplay

The game is only licensed by the Formula One Constructors Association (FOCA), not the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), meaning only a small subset of courses are available. Additionally, while every major vehicle manufacturer is represented in-game through computer-controlled cars, players only have access to five.

Cars

Benetton B195 (Michael Schumacher)
Williams FW17 (Damon Hill)
Ferrari 412 T2 (Jean Alesi)
Tyrrell 023 (Ukyo Katayama)
Tyrrell had a poor season in 1995, finishing 9th in the constructor's championship, however its car did have a Japanese engine and driver, which may explain its inclusion in this Japanese-made video game.
McLaren MP4/10 (Mika Häkkinen)

Courses

Hockenheim
Suzuka Circuit
Monte Carlo
Neo City Novice
Neo City Advanced
Neo City Expert
