The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 (E3 2015).
E3 2015 marks the first time since the event's conception that Sega did not host a booth, largely due to internal restructuring but also, it was suspected, a lack of games to demonstrate. The company was involved in the event in other ways, however, such as the announcement of Sega feat. Hatsune Miku Project: VR Tech Demo. for the Project Morpheus virtual reality unit for the PlayStation 4. Total War: Warhammer was also featured at E3, notably the teaser at PC Gaming Show conference.
Perhaps most notably, former Sega AM2 head, Yu Suzuki announced the release of Shenmue III at the Sony press conference. Despite being developed and published by other companies, Sega continues to hold the intellectual property rights to Shenmue and is therefore likely to be involved in the development process.
The Atlus branch of Sega did host a booth where they showcased the games they'd be releasing in the US. They also had a dancing stage where people could dance to music from Persona 4: Dancing All Night, footage of which was uploaded to a Youtube channel that was set up for the event[1]. Atlus also had a presence at Nintendo's presentations, with Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE (called Genei Ibunroku #FE at the time) being shown during the Nintendo Digital Event and the Nintendo Treehouse live streams.
