The Product Development Team was Sega of America's first dedicated team of game producers, established to help the company's producers more closely participate in the development of Western-programmed Sega Genesis software.
History
In early 1992, the Product Development Team became Sega Multimedia Studio in an attempt by management to refocus to team around the CD-ROM and the upcoming Sega CD.[1]
