Master of Darkness, called Vampire: Master of Darkness in North America and In the Wake of Vampire (イン ザ ウエイク オブ ヴァンパイア) in Japan, is a sidescrolling action game developed by SIMS for the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear. Sega of Japan announced a Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console rerelease in 2012.

Gameplay

The game can best be described as a clone of Castlevania. You play as Dr. Social who must traverse across Victorian England in order to find and defeat Dracula, fighting various monsters along the way.

2 jumps, 1 attacks with your primary weapon and Up + 1 triggers the secondary weapon. Holding Up-left, Up-right, Down-right or Down-left lets you walk up and down stairs.
