Super Fantasy Zone is the last game in the Fantasy Zone series, first released on the Sega Mega Drive in 1992. The game is a standard side scrolling shooter with the exception that the ship can traverse on the ground in addition to flying.

Gameplay

B shoots. C drops a bomb (with unlimited stock). A uses the special weapon, which can be bought from a shop, found throughout each level as balloons which must be collided into to enter.

Original Fantasy Zone Soundtrack

The soundtrack from the arcade version of the first Fantasy Zone game is included as an easter egg and can be listened to in the sound test. To make the music play in-game, highlight "GAME START" on the title screen and press  START  while holding down A+B+C together.

  • Picnica A bright forest with a mountain lake background.

  • Kazarne This level is a fiery volcanic land.

  • Niagaro Large waterfalls fall from the sky in this level with large clouds floating around the air.

  • Risscave A very dark cavern, it's very hard to see in here. The Super Lights will enhance your visibility here.

  • Grandius This level consists of a desert landscape, with canyons in the background.

  • LE-Picker The floor glows bright with electric in this stage, and Opa-Opa will need the Rubber Boots to safely stand on it.

  • Aflorious Big bubbles make up the floor, with a bright rainbow in the background.

  • Menone A very strange landscape indeed. All the previous bosses are fought here.
