Phantasy Star II: Shilka's Adventure (ファンタシースターII テキストアドベンチャー シルカの冒険) is a Sega Mega Drive graphic text adventure game developed and published by Sega. Initially released exclusively via the Japanese Sega Game Toshokan online game service in November 1990, it was later re-released as part of the Sega Mega-CD title Game no Kanzume Vol. 2 and the Sony PlayStation 2 title Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 32: Phantasy Star Complete Collection, and was also released as as part of Sega's B-Club service.
Available as part of an eight-game series collectively known as the Phantasy Star II Text Adventures, Phantasy Star II: Shilka's Adventure concerns the story of the player's companion and party member Shilka (also known as Skurika or Shir) from the 1989 role-playing game Phantasy Star II.

Story
The game takes place in autumn of AW 1282, about 2 years before the events of Phantasy Star II.
Shir Gold (Japanese: シルカ・レビニア (Shiruka Rebinia, Shilka Levinia)) – the only child of a wealthy family in Paseo, she belongs to the well-to-do of Motavia. Growing up and wanting for nothing, Shir felt that becoming a thief would remedy the monotony of daily life. She enjoys the outside air, the cool night breeze, and hanging around on rooftops, giving her the nickname "Shir of the Wind". Her adventure outlines one of her escapades as a thief, as she plans to steal a valuable painting entitled "Opa-Opa", which is on display in a hotel exhibit.
Gameplay
Each of the Phantasy Star II Text Adventure games had identical gameplay mechanics which were. On the screen are small graphics showing an on-screen event as well as a textual description of it. The player can progress through the game using the "Move", "Look", "Take", "Use", and "Drop" commands. The player also has HP, which factors into battle sequences, and MST (Meseta), currency used in shops.

Story
The first half of the game takes place in the winter of AW 1274, about 10 years before the events of Phantasy Star II. The second half takes place 8 years onward.
Rolf (Japanese: ユーシス (Yūshisu or Eusis)) is a government agent working out of the town of Paseo on Motavia, and the main character of Phantasy Star II. This text adventure describes Rolf's childhood as a young and talented, but conceited sword prodigy, detailing his rescue of a childhood friend, eventually leading up to his induction as an agent in duty of the government.
