Dreamcast consoles in Eastern Europe

After the relatively poor sales of Sega Saturn, the distribution network of Sega's products practically ceased to exist in almost all countries of this region. For this reason, Sega Dreamcast was released in 2000, when cooperation with new companies was signed and the price of the console dropped to a more affordable one.

When Dreamcast went on sale in several countries, especially in the CIS region, game piracy for the new Sega console began. As with the Mega Drive cases, piracy has turned out to be a generator of console sales. Another advantage was the relatively low price of the console compared to PlayStation 2. Dreamcast had good sales results only in some countries. In the other part of countries, it was poorly available and unnoticed.
