Sega Game Music Vol. 3 After Burner (セガ・ゲーム・ミュージック VOL.3 アフターバーナー) is a collection of music from Sega arcade games, and the third in the "Sega Game Music" series. This volume focuses on After Burner, though also features tracks from Alien Syndrome, Dunk Shot, SDI: Strategic Defense Initiative and Super Hang-On. It was originally released in 1987 in CD, audio cassette and vinyl formats, and was re-released on CD in 2000. The cassette and vinyl versions are shorter, with Dunk Shot tracks missing entirely.
The After Burner tracks "Final Take Off" and "After Burner" are the "melody versions", originally intended to be used in the arcade game, but removed before release. They were subsequently remastered specifically for this album.
