Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius: Forever With Me (実況おしゃべりパロディウス ~フォーエバー・ウィズ・ミー~, roughly translated as "Chatting Parodius Live") is the fourth game in the Parodius series by Konami. Like it's predecessors it pokes fun at other Konami franchises, especially the shoot-'em-up franchise Gradius.
As the name may suggest, Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius features a running Japanese commentary, which affects all aspects of the game from the menus to on-screen action. This, combined with the numerous Japanese references, likely explains why the game was never brought to the West; the only Parodius game not to do so in some form.
This "Forever With Me" edition (a nod to Konami's Tokimeki Memorial remake, Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You) is unique to the Saturn and PlayStation, building on ideas seen in Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius for the Super Famicom, released some months prior.
Gameplay
Gameplay is mostly similar to the previous titles (two of which can be found in Parodius for the Saturn and the final in Konami Antiques MSX Collection Ultra Pack). Unlike previous games which were a combination of new ideas and parody versions of Gradius stages (and bosses), Oshaberi Parodius features levels inspired by other Konami properties. Unlike other games in the series, characters previously reserved for the second player are now selectable by both players, and have their own power up lists (making them unique characters).
Hidden through the game are 70 fairies, which if collected unlocks two extra characters; "Dracura" and "Kid-D".

History
Legacy
The direct sequel to Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius is Sexy Parodius, also not released outside of Japan.
Versions
The game offers a selection of new characters, some of which replace those found in the previous title, Gokujou Parodius!. The Saturn version of the game (along with its PlayStation counterpart) introduces several new levels not found in the original SNES release and tweaks many bosses and graphics. It also benefits from higher quality sound and simultaneous 2-player action without as much slowdown.
