Stage 35 was a concept store opened by Sega GameWorks and located in Tuscon, Arizona.
History
Stage 35 was created as a smaller alternative to the large-scale GameWorks locations at the time, being much more cost effective compared to original set goal of 100 standard locations. Based on and named after the Universal soundstage GameWorks was built on, it was made to appeal more to a younger audience. The areas were split into different "neighborhoods" being "The Living Room," "The Surf Shack," "The Half-Court," and, "The Garage."[1] This test location led to the creation of GameWorks Studio, eventually being converted to GameWorks Studio Tuscon sometime before October 1999,[2] and later would become World Sports Grille Tuscon before closing on March 25, 2013.
