Riddle Wired (リドルワイアード) is a quiz game for the Sega Mega Drive, released exclusively in Japan via the Sega Game Toshokan service. It was episodic, with questions getting refreshed twice a month. Only 1991-08 Volume 1 has been preserved.

Gameplay

The player plays through 6 stages against 5 opponents. Each stage contains 2 to 3 sub-stages (besides stage 6, which is a final confrontation between the player and the opponent from stage 5). The goal of the game is to knock the opponent's HP down to 0. Players achieve this by correctly selecting the right answer out of the four possible answers for each question. Each time the player guesses incorrectly, they will lose a health point.

Between each stage, players are treated to a bonus game where they must hit a button to stop the bonus spinner. This can get them additional HP to the starting 3 that they have.
