Tetsuo Shinyu (新湯 哲生) is a former game designer, director and producer at Sega of Japan. He joined Sega Enterprises in 1990 and was assigned to Sega R&D 2[2]. He was the game designer for the Mega Drive games Pyramid Magic and Honoo no Toukyuuji Dodge Danpei. He then became a director starting with Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and continued to direct the Greatest Nine series for Sega Saturn, Hundred Swords for Dreamcast[3] and the third-through-fifth entries in the Let's Make Derby/Derby Tsuku series[2]. Come the PlayStation Portable, Shinyu became a producer of the Naruhodo series, Nouryoku Trainer Portable series and Homestar Portable[4].
