One of the S.C.P.'s best operatives, nicknamed "The Demon Incarnate" ("The Road Avenger" in western releases, and given the full name of John O'Hara in the Mega-LD version), was feared by the RRR due to his impeccable driving skills and stopping their evil schemes. | ||

While the SCP officer miraculously survived his injuries, the same could not be said for his wife. Story
In the late 1990s United States, the government forms the S.C.P. (Special Car Police, known as the Special Task Operations Police (S.T.O.P.) in the North American release and the Mobile Armored Task Force (MATF) in the European releases) to combat the increased crime rate on America's open roads and highway caused by a notorious unified cabal of biker gangs known only as the RRR (known as the Secret Criminal Underground Movement (S.C.U.M.) in the North American release). One of the S.C.P.'s best operatives, nicknamed "The Demon Incarnate" ("The Road Avenger" in western releases, and given the full name of John O'Hara in the Mega-LD version), was feared by the RRR due to his impeccable driving skills and stopping their evil schemes.
After dealing with the RRR for so long, the nameless officer had fallen in love with and married a young woman (named Cindy in western Mega-CD releases). Unfortunately, the newlyweds' happiness would not last long. In an act of retaliation, the RRR began to attack the newlyweds' car, and push them off a cliff. While the SCP officer miraculously survived his injuries, the same could not be said for his wife. After recovering from his own injuries, the SCP officer upgrades his sports car into an attack vehicle and goes on a vigilante mission of vengeance, vowing to make the RRR pay for his wife's death.
