He was initially involed in edutainment experiments within Sega in the eighties and nineties, which were the Sega AI Computer and the Sega Pico. He was on the forefront of creating a proper marketing division for Sega of Japan, which led to the unique marketing campaigns for Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast in Japan.
