Saori Kobayashi (小林 早織) is a former Sega sound composer best known for her work on the latter titles of the Panzer Dragoon series. Prior to this, though, she was mainly involved with music composition for Game Gear titles and sound effect production for Saturn titles.
Some time after her work on Panzer Dragoon Orta, Kobayashi formed the Ethtronic music unit Akane alongside Yumiko Takahashi of Suikoden II fame, in addition to contributions to a few handheld titles and collaborative album releases (including the now-disbanded GeOnDan). Other recent work includes Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz and Crimson Dragon.
In 2013, she signed onto the Brave Wave music label, where she released her debut solo album, Terra Magica, in 2016.
