Manabu Ishihara (石原 学) is a former programmer at Sega, whose first work was the Sega System 32 game Rad Mobile. He would go on to program for its revisions Rad Rally and the event-only R360 version of Rad Mobile.[1] His only other known arcade game is Dark Edge.
After this, he was one of many arcade developers reassigned to the CS divisions to develop games for Sega Saturn, with Ishihara most involved with the Greatest Nine series.
