Takaya Segawa (瀬川 隆哉) joined Sega in 1992 as a designer for Sega CS1, beginning his career with a pitch for a Mega Drive which was ultimately cancelled.[1] After starting up with the Sega Saturn title Kanzen Chuukei Pro Yakyuu Greatest Nine, he served as director for various baseball games aimed at a Japanese audience. Much later he was also involved in some mobile titles as well heading the Online R&D department.
