Company
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment was established in 1995 as means of licensing Warner Bros.' intellectual properties to video game developers and publishers, but eventually entered the market on its own, acquiring a number of development studios along the way.
For the first few years of its life, the company shared a close relationship with Acclaim Entertainment, before striking a similar deal with Infogrames.
