Sega's Time-Out Fox Hills Mall, formerly Sega Center Fox Hills Mall, was an indoor Time-Out arcade once owned by Sega during the 1970s and 1980s.

History

Originally an arcade from California's Kingdom of Oz chain, it and five other locations were purchased by Sega in 1976[1] and rebranded as a Sega Center arcade. The Fox Hills Mall venue appears to have been one of the more successful indoor arcades to be operated by Sega. It was home to a 1977 promotional Star Wars interview with Carrie Fisher, and is prominently featured in the 1983 horror anthology film Nightmares.

Following Sega's 1986 purchase of the larger arcade chain Time-Out, all remaining Sega Centers were again rebranded to Sega's Time-Out. Sega would sell off the Time-Out chain in July 1990, and in the next few years the arcade closed altogether.[2]
