Ryo Kudou (工藤 稜) is a character designer and artist from the early to mid 1990s. He is best known for his work on Knuckles' Chaotix as a leading character, enemy and boss designer with Takumi Miyake.
Aliases
Ryo Kudou is most often credited with a slight variation on his name Kudou Ryo (the Japanese order of surname followed by given name) with his given name's first letter R to the end of the surname, creating Kudor Yo. This alias is also given a unique Japanese spelling in Dark Wizard, 駆動 利用 (pronounced Kudou Riyou). The English version of Dark Wizard replaces this name with ..., a name later seen in Streets of Rage III.
He has also confirmed that he worked on the games Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (Master System version) and The Cyber Shinobi[2], which feature a pair of artists which could be additional aliases: Sadou/Mic-Satho, and Fudou/Fudho-Jyo/Fudo (the latter is also credited in Dragon Crystal).
