Budokan: The Martial Spirit is a Sega Mega Drive fighting simulation game developed and published by Electronic Arts. A port of the company's titular 1989 Amiga computer game Budokan: The Martial Spirit, it was first released in the United States in July 1990, and was later brought to Europe and Brazil the following December. Alongside Populous and Zany Golf, it was among the first batch of Mega Drive games Electronic Arts developed, and was initially intended to be released as an unlicensed game; Sega's last-minute negotiations prevented this, but the game was never updated to comply with Sega's licensed ROM requirements, rendering all copies of the game incompatible with TMSS and only compatible with early Mega Drive units.

The title refers to the world-famous Nippon Budokan, Japan's most popular and culturally-significant indoor arena, and to the Budokan martial arts tournament which takes place there.
